Story Arcs

So here at NG, the story is divided into different story arcs. Some can be very similar, others can be very different. Once an arc is finished, a new one will be posted. The story arcs are like site wide plots that keep renovating to keep the story fresh and moving.

The Return of The Phoenix

All is well in the new world, the mutants obey the humans accordingly and nothing will disrupt that balance. Or is there something in the way? Something that won't stop? Something that can't be stopped? Something that was once put down, but has returned from the shadowy hell it was left on! The Phoenix has yet to give her last breath and will stop at nothing until she achieves her goal, Destroy the earth!

2030, January, 16th - The Phoenix takes over Xenon for the first time in years and he assaults the district, vaporizing an entire block, killing many, and exposing Alchemy Lehnsherr.

Oblivion Rises

Status: Just starting.

The world is colder then it was a year before, the government has implemented stricter laws. Executions in the streets have become normal. In the districts has been the stirring of rebellion, word has reached them of one mutant and his followers killing indiscrimentnly with one intent. To conquer this broken world and make it his own. Some support him others think he is a monster, as mutants and humans wonder who will be the next to die this mutant is waiting, bidding his time. Choose your side, before you become another body in the grave. Oblivion has risen.

A year has passed and all hell is breaking loose. Centennials patrol the streets, whispers of war are on the wind and a new force to be reckoned with is on the rise.

Players, thank you for your patience college and real life got in the way but the Hiatus is over and just in time. The new face of terror has risen from some sort of fresh hell and his name is Oblivion.

His mission to conquer the world. Right now our characters are in a tumulus time, the atmosphere in the districts is tense. Centinniels patrol the streets and executions have become normal. More and more new mutants come to the districts each day as they are caught or turned in by family and friends.

Some mutants have even been taken to Ravencroft Institute to be experimented on to aid SHIELD in making new weapons. The avengers are either dead or missing, and the world as we once knew it is dead.

Oblivion is the leader of a new movement. The problem though is that he kills not only humans but mutants too. Why? because he can. The mutants he kills either spoke back to him or were deemed unworthy or he purely was bored.

With this new threat on the rise many mutants have decided to stand against him while others choose to stand with him. Prepare yourselves, we are entering a world at war.
